Automobile Recycling Trends and Nissan’s Circular Economy
The newly published ELV regulation bill in Europe stipulates new mandatory targets for recycled material content.
I would like to discuss the types of recycled plastic contained in automobiles, manufacturing technologies, and conditions necessary for procurement. The presentation will also cover the background of the EU’s Circular Economy Policy, which mandates the inclusion of recycled materials, as well as an overview of the EU CE Action Plan, the EU’s plastics strategy, the current status of the ELV Directive, the EU’s approach to the circular use of plastics in relation to the new ELV Regulation Bill, and the changes required in the procurement of recycled plastics. It is necessary to keep in mind the necessary changes in supply chain management.
