India Die & Mold Industry Seminar “How to Enter the Indian Market”.
The Indian manufacturing industry is growing rapidly, taking advantage of its low cost and abundant labor force.
The government’s “Make in India” policy and the attraction of investment by companies from other countries have also provided a tailwind, strengthening the country’s competitiveness in the global market. Furthermore, as technological innovation and digitalization continue to advance, manufacturing capacity in diverse fields such as IT, automobiles, and medical equipment is expanding. In terms of both cost efficiency and technological capabilities, India is attracting attention as a next-generation manufacturing hub.
In particular, Japanese auto parts manufacturers are establishing manufacturing bases in the Indian market and expanding business with local automakers. In addition to local production, there is a move to make India an export hub, strengthening their presence in the Indian market by offering highly competitive products. As the overall Indian automotive industry grows, demand from component manufacturers is expected to increase further.
A seminar by the Tool and Die Manufacturers Association of India (TAGMA) is scheduled to be held in Mumbai in April 2026, with an introduction to the upcoming India Tool and Die Manufacturing Equipment Exhibition and a lot more, where you can hear about the outlook for the Indian tool and die industry and the methods, challenges, and cautions for entering the Indian market.
