Large-scale structural analysis accelerates carbon neutral promotion!
Structural analysis to support electrification and automated driving
One of the challenges in promoting electrification of vehicles is to consider weight reduction of the entire vehicle in order to extend the cruising range (for the purpose of improving electric power cost). In this session, we will introduce examples of effective use of ADVENTURECluster to study new gear strength and support structure of fixed parts to help solve issues from the viewpoint of structural strength. The measurement accuracy of sensors for automatic driving is an important factor in ensuring vehicle safety. We will also introduce examples of structural studies to ensure sensor installation accuracy.
ADVENTURECluster for solving GIGACAST issues
In recent years, the automotive industry has been accelerating the introduction of gigacasting (larger die casting) to reduce costs associated with the rapid shift to electric power. One of the challenges is to acquire simulation technology that can quickly predict the die clamping force for GIGACAST and the response to larger die-casting machines. We will introduce an example of effective use of ADVENTURECluster for this issue.
ADVENTURECluster’s Optimization Function Contributes to Product Weight Reduction
We will introduce the optimization function of ADVENTURECluster, which we are focusing on developing in order to meet the market’s need for lighter products. It is possible to easily and quickly derive ideas for product shapes that are both lightweight and unbreakable. Lightweighting is an important theme in the field of production technology, including molds and joining technologies used in plastic injection molding, die casting, and press molding.
