Next Generation Engineering and Research Seeds of Nihon University

Nihon University will hold a “Next Generation Engineering and Research Seeds Exchange Meeting” on October 24, 2024.

Since its launch as the first TLO approved in Japan, NUBIC has been working in collaboration with national and local governments and industry as well as domestic and international research institutions to promote the wide use of the university’s research and technology seeds. This year’s exhibition will introduce research results and cutting-edge technologies for the next generation, such as “Next Generation Energy,” “Plasma,” and “Artificial Intelligence.

In “Nuclear Fusion,” the development of innovative nuclear fusion without neutron emission and the plasma application technology to realize it will be introduced. In “Spintronics,” spintronics materials and their applications to ultrafast magneto-optical control, environmental power generation, and sensors will be introduced. Neural Networks: New artificial neural network models that form the basis of next-generation AI. In “Next Generation Robotics,” a new artificial neural network model that forms the basis of next generation AI. Four researchers from the Faculty of Science and Engineering will give lectures on these keywords.

A tour of the research facilities of the Faculty of Science and Technology, which are available for use in commissioned and joint research, will also be held.
