Revision of the European Emissions Trading Scheme and introduction of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism
This section explains the revision of the European Emissions Trading Scheme (EU-ETS) and the introduction of the Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
The Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM) is scheduled to be fully introduced towards 2026, and the range of product groups covered is expected to expand. To help customers respond appropriately to this change, we will provide commentary on CBAM.
