Company profile
Greetings
Thank you for accessing and using this website.
Our firm started out as a personal law firm for inheritance and wills, based on the principle of ‘supporting people’s happiness’.
Thanks to your support, we have received a steady stream of requests since the opening of our office, ranging from the establishment of small and medium-sized enterprises to consulting for companies listed on the first section of the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
With the development and expansion of our business, we introduced the industry’s first ERP in 2008 in order to further improve the quality of our work and to respond to the trust of our clients, who continue to patronise us, with reliable quality and overwhelming speed.
In regulated industries, where it is necessary to obtain government licences and approvals, the key to business success lies in strategic thinking on how to understand and actively utilise the law, based on the premise of compliance with laws and regulations. The firm has a strong pipeline of contacts with the public offices that directly supervise businesses and even the central government offices in Kasumigaseki to confirm and make recommendations on the interpretation and application of laws and regulations.
Currently, the firm is also involved in consulting in preparation for IPO (Initial Public Offering), derived from needs such as fund-raising, business planning and M&A consulting, and often acts as a coordinator with neighbouring professionals such as lawyers, certified public accountants and patent attorneys in resolving issues for client companies. We are often involved in problem-solving cases for client companies while coordinating with neighbouring professionals such as lawyers, certified public accountants and patent attorneys. In particular, as an administrative law firm, we are particularly good at providing consulting services including business strategy development and marketing in the field of licensing and approval business, and we have a system in place to provide comprehensive management support services on a one-stop basis.
In addition, we can also provide one-stop support for acquiring and changing licences and permits, as well as for fund-raising, along with capital increases, liquidation of affiliated companies and company changes that occur as client companies’ business plans progress. We have clients in a wide range of sectors, including banking and insurance, transport, manufacturing, real estate developers, food and beverage, telecommunications, human resources, healthcare, cosmetics and apparel.
We are committed to the daily work of our firm, valuing the relationships we have built with our clients, as the activities of Japan and Japanese people in the 21st century are expected to develop more globally.
We are grateful for the encounters we have had with our clients. Thank you very much.
Features of the New Japan General Office
1. Uniqueness in understanding both law and management
The most common request from our corporate management clients was that they wanted to work with someone who understands management. Even if the answer to a consultation or request is correct from a legal or procedural point of view, it does not necessarily mean that it is the most appropriate response for the client. In some cases, the next best solution is often the better long-term solution. We always try to propose the best solution ‘half a step ahead’ in close communication with our clients, and we want to be ‘a firm that understands what it is we are talking about’.
2.A wide range of areas handled, covering almost all types of business
Thanks to the support of our clients, we have received patronage from a wide range of industries, including the financial sector, such as banking and insurance, transport, manufacturing, real estate developers, catering, mail order, human resources, medical, cosmetics and apparel. The image of an administrative law firm is generally that of a style that specialises in one particular licensing industry, but we can always provide cutting-edge solutions that cut across industry structures by working with a wide variety of industries and clients.
3.ERP-based speed and quality of service
In 2008, we developed and introduced the industry’s first Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. This enabled us to quickly comply with the Financial Instruments and Exchange Law (J-Sox Law) and the e-Document Law, which are required for management in the 21st century. We have established a system that enables us to respond not only to management based on the confidentiality obligations of the Qualified Business Act (good faith and personal management), but also to the consulting needs of our highly information-oriented and fast-paced society.
4.Providing advanced management based on MBA management
Makoto Inomata, the head of our firm, has taught management at the SBI Graduate School of Management and reflects MBA management in the management of his own firm. Therefore, we work on solving problems and improving management with a dual focus on ‘law’ and ‘management’, so we can offer the best solutions to raise the overall corporate value by improving FCF (free cash flow) and NPV (net present value) according to the client’s wishes, not only in terms of government procedures. We propose optimal measures to increase the overall value of the company by improving FCF (free cash flow) and NPV (net present value) according to your wishes. We have built a strong relationship of trust with companies that have achieved a dramatic improvement in their business performance with our help, going beyond conventional management.
Office structure for a speedy economy
The firm responds to the needs of its clients by dividing its work into a consulting department (Consulting BU), a legal procedures department (Procedures BU) and a document production department (Documents BU). Of course, these divisions place the highest priority on the needs of our clients, so information between divisions is managed centrally by ERP, and we have a system in place that enables us to respond quickly to cross-divisional needs. Please do not hesitate to contact us, even if it is a simple matter. We will act as your concierge and answer your questions.
